South Thailand Adventure is definitely a sea-kayaking
trip. Most days you are on fresh or salt water for a
typically stunning and unique Sea Canoe paddling experience.
You might paddle through a mountain, explore coastal
islands with caves, Hongs, and rock gardens, enjoy wildlife
observations, swim in hot springs, and have a great
time playing "Local" with your new Thai friends.
But even more, this adventure is a fun and interesting
insight into the culture and nature of South Thailand
with the folks who know and live it - your Sea Canoe
staff.
We
will go to Krabi Province to visit some caves and paddle
in the mangrove swamp. We will also go trekking into
the deep jungle to see many kinds of wildlife at Thung
Teao Forest which is located in the area of Khao Pra
Bang Khram, a no-hunting zone next to the Bang Teao
Village.
You
can enjoy the open ocean along the west coastline of
South Thailand at Hat Chao Mai National Park, Trang
Province. Hat Chao Mai is a marine national park covering
the 2 districts of Kantang and Sikao. The park's coastline
is about 20 kilometers. The park headquarters is at
Chang Lang Beach in Tambon Mai Fat, approximately 47
kilometers from the city. To get there, take the Trang-Sikao-Pak
Meng road (Highway No. 4162) for 40 kilometers and then
7 kilometers more on a road that parallels the beach
to the park headquarters.
We
also offer a place for paddling in semi-salt water at
Thale Noi Waterfowl Reserve, Phatthalung, which is the
largest waterfowl reserve in Thailand. The sea is covered
with assorted flora such as lotus, bulrush, reeds, and
grass used for thatching. More than 187 species of waterfowl,
migratory and indigenous birds make their home at Thale
Noi.
Moreover, we will visit the place where UNESCO proclaimed
"Heritage of ASEAN " called Tarutao
National Park. The park consists of 7 large islands,
namely Tarutao, Adang, Rawi, Lipeh (Nipis), Dong (Budang),
Lek (Bisi) and Klang (Tengah). Recently the American
game show, "Survivor" was filmed here.
We don't just visit Nature and the local
people. We also visit the civilization and great night
life at Hat Yai, Songkla which are commercial cities
and are suitable for shopping.

We now have plans to operate a trip to Khao
Sok National Park, which is located 109. km from
Surat township area on Highway No. 401. This is a verdant
forest-covered hill, a national park with an area of
some 161,000 acres. Many kinds of rare wildlife are
still to be found in an atmosphere of peacefulness and
restfulness. You can trek along the trails made for
this adventure.
